Overview

Tesla Energy is a suite of products that lets homeowners and businesses produce renewable electricity, store it for when it is needed, and support the wider electric grid. Residential customers can choose solar panels or Solar Roof to generate power, pair either with Powerwall for backup and overnight use, and monitor everything in the Tesla app. At utility scale, Megapack delivers high-density battery storage for commercial sites and grid operators.

Powerwall is a rechargeable home battery that stores energy from your solar system or the grid. Use stored power at night, during an outage, or when electricity prices are high. Powerwall 3 is a fully integrated solar and battery system with an onboard inverter; up to three expansion units can be added for more capacity. Features like Storm Watch automatically prepare your system before severe weather.
